The season finale of the Euro Touring Series is taking place at the Sporthotel Grafenwald in the small village of Daun, GER this weekend. The huge hotel complex is located in the large forests of the Eifel region, only 20km away from the famous Nürburgring. It is the fifth time for the ETS circus at this venue after the first race 2018, followed by three more in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
We always saw high numbers of entries in Daun, making this event one of the most popular ones in the ETS calendar. This time we are happy to welcome 360 ETS racers in Daun for the showdown of Season #15 2022/23.

Check our little video tour through the sports hall in Daun to see the track and the huge pit area. The carpet track was built under the lead of ETS racer Tim Benson again (same as in Hann. Münden at RD5), and the layout only got compliments until now. The crew did an amazing job as it was a lot of work to lay down the racing carpet perfectly in the tennis sports hall. The ETS likes to shout out a huge THANK YOU to Tim Benson and his team!
The colour of the carpet is a little different this time, as the carpet supplier was not able to provide us the famous “black ETS carpet”. However, the greyish carpet is working very well too, and nobody had anything to complain at the first day of the fully booked event. Let`s go racing
We are looking forward to a great race in Daun, and everything is set to go. We will crown 6 ETS champions on Sunday, but it is still a long way to go for the title contenders to bring home the big trophy. Enjoy the weekend and follow our race reports on ets.racing!
