Italian RC body manufacturer XTREME Aerodynamics has unveiled a new 1:10 touring car body shell called ZENITH. This body is the successor to the famous and hugely successful Twister and Twister Speciale bodies. The ZENITH features improved aerodynamics and has, in fact, been redesigned in every respect – whilst still bearing a resemblance to the Twister (in terms of its basic shape)!
Like all other Xtreme body shells, the ZENITH will be available in three versions: Ultra Light (0.4 mm), Light (0.5 mm) and Standard (0.7 mm). The overall philosophy behind the project was to increase the body shell’s aerodynamic potential by generating more rear load and using new integrated aerodynamic elements to restore the ideal front-end balance. The goal was not simply to create more downforce. In racing, more aerodynamic load does not automatically mean more performance.
NOTE: With immediate effect, the Xtreme ZENITH is approved as the third body shell from Xtreme for the ETS racing classes Pro Stock and Modified until the end of the season. The body is NOT allowed in 40+ Masters and 21.5 Stock (check official ETS body shell list in RULES).
What truly matters is developing a body shell that is:
• more efficient;
• more linear;
• more stable;
• more precise;
• easier for the driver to understand;
• more exploitable through every phase of the corner.
Zenith was designed to deliver a more complete level of performance.
