Dear ETS Family,
today we have an announcement that not everyone will love to read. From the start of the new ETS Season #20 2027/28, the Formula class will not be a part of the series anymore. We have talked about that topic a lot with the whole team, and the decision was made that we will now finish the Season with our races in Andernach, Daun, and Warsaw to crown our last ETS Formula champion.
The desicion was made , based on pure numbers and stats. The F1 class was not growing at all in the last years, sometimes we did not even reach the mark of 20 entries. When we have our huge events with so many entries already, and the Formula class maybe gets 25 entries, we are really just taking that (track) time away from other potential racers. We are sure that almost all the Formula racers have another class that they would be happy to still race at the ETS.
We hope that (most of) you will understand the decision, which was made by the ETS team with full consensus. To all F1 drivers: Thank you for always supporting the class. Please enjoy the last three races of ETS Season #19 2026/27.
