Under the Hood – Simon Lauter`s Awesomatix A800RR

We had a chanct to top off the Xtreme Twister Speciale body shell from Simon Lauter`s car. His A800RR is equipped with the Awesomatix steel chassis, and features the BW55R battery holders to perfectly fix his Nosram 4200mAh shorty battery in the car. Beside of that, Simons car is very close to the standard kit configuration.

Setup wise they were working a lot with the length of the top links and different topdeck configurations to match the challenging track conditions at Arena Nova during the ETS weekend.

Simon is using a Hobbywing combo with the common Hobbywing Xerun XR10 Pro G3 speed controller and a Xerun V10 G3 5.0T motor. His car features a “High Performance Transponder” of which simon is very proud of – check it`s number :-).

A MKS HBL 575 SL servo is responsible for the steering and Simon is controlling his car with his well-loved Sanwa M17S radio!
