Hobbywing Frontwheel

Schulz heading in direction championship while Olsen struggles with his own pace

The Hobbywing Frontwheel class is under control of defending champion Stefan Schulz. He will start into qualifying with a clean track in front of him. The top 25 drivers had been very close in seeding practice, only separated by one second. Meik Niemann and Roman Borschel will be the guys chasing Schulz in Q1 and we are excited about the outcome of FWD qualifying here in Daun. Steven Olsen needs to find some pace if he still wants a chance to fight for the overall title with Schulz as he is only sitting 10th right now.

1. Stefan Schulz (DE) 39.881 (Xray)

Orca 17.5 Stock

Schmid to start first into qualifying while Reile and Donath dropping down to P4 and P5 at the end of seeding practice

The second round of seeding practice mixed up the field a little bit when Kevin Schmid, Roman Borschel, and Henrik Heitsch took positions one, two, and three. It was just seeding practice and the drivers had been very close on the two fastest laps, but it was interesting to see that a lot of drivers are on a great pace. We are not expecting an easy race for Reile and Donath in the fight for the overall championship!

The Top 5 after controlled practice (2 consecutive laps)

1. Kevin Schmid (DE) 34.829 (Awesomatix)
2. Roman Borschel (DE) 34.981 (Awesomatix)
3. Henrik Heitsch (DE) 35.090 (ARC)
4. Dominik Reile (DE) 35.134 (Awesomatix)
5. Jasmin Donath (DE) 35.240 (Awesomatix)

ToniSport 40+ Master

Zierold, Myrberg, and Baggendorf outpacing championship contenders Stankowitz and Mateo at ETS RD6 in Germany

Manuel Stankowitz dropped down to fourth place, and Toni Mateo was able to close his gap to Stankowitz sitting fifth. Qualifying will be up next and everybody must go “all in” for a good place on the grid. The gap between the top 5 was just about 0.2 seconds in two laps which is not a lot for sure!
