The Yokomo factory team will travel to Aigen with good memories as Christopher Krapp was able to win there in 2022 – a year that went amazingly well for Krapp as he became vice-world champion as well. Fast forward, the team has a new chassis in use called MS1.0 and is working hard to find the way back to the top step of the podium. Krapp will race in Aigen together with all his Yokomo factory team members like Yannic Prümper, Enrico Jung, Antoine Brunet, and Frederik Hovgaard. Aigen was a good place for me so far. I like the track a lot and was able to win there two years ago. Last year was also not bad with a P4 after a difficult weekend. The track is really cool, fast, and provides a good traction due to the sugaring they do. I am very optimistic that our whole team will perform well in Austria. The reason for my optimism is that we already had a solid pace in Apeldoorn which we just did not convert into top results. We had been on the euros warmup race last week and made good progress there with our new MS1.0 platform. Yokomo made some new upper arms to test and also some softer springs which made the car faster. In Aigen, I try to aim for the best possible result and as always, the win is the main target. The list of entries is almost looking like a world championship as we do not miss many top drivers on it. Our team will be there in full force to represent the Yokomo brand in a strong way. Last but not least, I am very happy that there are so many entries for Aigen. This place deserves it, and I am looking forward to the race.

I have never been to the Aigen track, so for sure the event will be challenging for me. I will try to get some information from my team mate Christopher Krapp who won there 2 years ago . We will try to get closer to the top with our new platform, the same we did at the euros warm up . We received some update parts from Japan which are already available on market and it seems that we made a step forward. We will see where we stand after practice, and it will be a very competitive field as always. It is very difficult to make a prognostic now but I hope for something good to happen in Austria!

I think I am well prepared for Aigen. I was practicing a bit on my home track, and also on the bigger track in Bamberg. We made good progress with the car after we struggled with the setup in the beginning. The confidence is high now and I hope to be in the mix for a good top 5 spot in the A-Main. Lukas Ellerbrock is in a very good form and I think he will be the man to beat in Aigen as well. About the facility and the track in Aigen I can only say: I don`t think there are many places in the world of RC where a club is doing so much for the racers. Everything is top notch and also the food is outstanding!

Mugen Seiki`s Ronald Völker was the top qualifier last year, before the finals went completeley wrong for him ending only P8. Eric Dankel, who is now running for Awesomatix, had a serious shot to claim his first ETS victory in Aigen last year, but somehow the Mugen team missed the win by a small margin. It seems like the team has kind of an open bill with the Aigen track as they had a great pace, but just no racing luck until now…

Sparbier wants to shake off the bad luck he had in Aigen during the last two years in ProStock

I expect the race in Aigen to become an exciting weekend because this time there are a lot of good drivers in ProStock again. This makes it more tricky, but also motivates me to reach my goal with making the A-Main which I missed in the last two years due to bad racing luck in the fight for the bump-up.
This year I would like to get into the top 10, or if possible, also into the top 5. Even though the last few years have never been particularly good for me there, I think the track itself is very nice and the surrounding area is always nice. The local club and the ETS team always make a big effort and I will prepare myself with my team mate Timo. We tried many setups together for a good start into the event on Thursday.

Awesomatix was the team to beat in Aigen last year. They had been able to win three out of four touring car classes with Marc Rheinard (Modified), Michel Zierold (40+ Masters), and Daniel Pöhlmann (21.5 Stock). Cayote power gives Rheinard wings as he aims for a second consecutive Aigen win

After a pretty good ETS season opener in Apeldoorn, I am looking forward to travel to the beautiful place in Aigen-Schlägl. My pace was really good in Apeldoorn which keeps me confident for RD2 of the championship. Last year I was able to win in Aigen after nice battles on track with Eric, Jan, and Ronald. My power package is really good now as the new Cayote stuff is working amazingly well so far. I try to be as competitive as possible and will go to some other track in Austria to test with Hara in the week before the ETS. We will see the strongest field of drivers since a very long time in Aigen as the Xray guys will join us there as well. I am sure that Bruno will be on point and that Michal Orlowski will be the man to beat once again. I am in a good mood and will throw everything I can at them to win the race!

Urbain aiming to build up speed incrementally over the course of the weekend

Having in mind that I had to skip last year’s Aigen round I do have to admit I feel slightly behind regarding track knowledge. Sure I was there when the ETS first visited Aigen two years ago but a lot has changed since then, notably the tires, so I am sure it will feel totally different to how I recall it. Still I have very fond memories of my first visit at the track, great layout, facilities and club in general, so I know at the very least I am gonna enjoy that.
I contemplated whether or not making the trip to go testing there before the race, but I am always worried to find completely different track conditions to what we will race on and therefore being thrown off setup-wise and stuck with wrong ideas. Rather the plan is to approach it with an open mind, watch my rivals if I can and build speed incrementally over the course of the weekend.
I know my package from Apeldoorn is strong, and it proved to be equally effective at the EC warmup so I trust it to keep delivering in Aigen. With the return of team Xray plus Akio and Hayato making the trip again it is probably the most stacked ETS round in a very long while. I feel very much hyped up by that! Overall it sounds like a fun weekend of racing ahead and the plan is to grab a few headlines along the way if I can!

Ellerbrock is on a winning streak – can he make it three out of three in Pro Stock?

After two wins in a row, I’m heading to Aigen with a good feeling, even if it hasn’t been my best track in the past. But we gained important insights for the track last year and have a very strong start set-up which should also work well in Aigen. So of course, I hope to be able to fight for first place in Aigen again and secure important points for the championship.
Two weeks ago, the EC Warm Up in Belgium went very well for me. As I was only able to arrive on Friday evening, I had less practice than many others, but I was right on pace for the first qualifying. In the end, I started from second place and was able to maintain this position in the finals. So, Ollie and I were able to clinch a nice double victory for the team.
Car wise, the most interesting new feature on the car is the FD Flex Damper Set, which is effectively a new top deck. We have already had some good experiences in the first tests, so it will of course be exciting to see how it performs in Aigen. I’m sure it will be another very close battle for the win, where the most important thing will probably be qualifying. Ollie and Adam will certainly be in the fight again, but there are plenty of other fast drivers with good chances, so you never know who is the main competitor before the race. Aigen is simply a great track with a really nice layout and great organization around the track. In the past, it has usually been very hot in Aigen, which could of course be a factor in the set-up and how to manage the tires.

Hara to visit Aigen for the first time

“Last time, I missed the A-Main due to my own mistakes, but I have enough speed to aim for the A-Main”

I have never been to Aigen. I get the impression from people’s reviews and videos that it is very nice! I can’t wait to hit in Aigen track!! Aigen is a very high speed layout, so a little mistake could be a tragedy in the Mod class. The car setup will need to be very stable. I used an Awesomatix A800R at the last race in Apeldoorn supported from Zero Tribe and will be racing again with my brother Marc Rheinard, with the help of Team Coyote and Toni Sport. Last time I missed the A-Main due to my own mistakes, but I have enough speed to aim for the A-Main, which gives me confidence. My A800R supported by Zero Tribe has a wider range of setups now and I have been able to adapt it more to my liking. Some new parts will be added as well. I heard that Xray’s team will be at Aigen, so I expect Michal Orlowski, Bruno, Marc, and others will be competing for the top. I will do my best to make it into the big show 🙂

I have never been to Aigen before and my expectations are extremely high, since everyone is hyping up this track. I can’t wait for Thursday practice at ETS! The start of the season in Apeldoorn was extremely strong for us despite Mattia Collina not being able to attend. Since he is a crucial part of our team, I am looking forward to see how strong we can be in Austria. We are always working on ways to make our package faster on the track. I am looking forward to being able to battle with the XRAY team at ETS after a long break and of course the usual suspects Marc, Ronald, Lucas and my mechanic Mattia Collina, who was blazing fast here last year.

Looking forward to a strong showing at ETS RD2 in Aigen! The Aigen track is a favorite, with its challenging layout, stunning Austrian scenery, and the exceptional organization by ETS and MAV Aigen-Schlägel crews. Last year, I was competitive but qualifying hiccups kept me out of the A-main. This year, consistency will be key to reach the A-main, especially with the high level of competition expected. An extra element of excitement: a larger Italian contingent of drivers and friends will be there! Hopefully, an ETS race in Italy becomes reality someday. For the team, focus remains on maximizing the Mi9 platform’s performance alongside Michal and Andy. Michal and the car have been dominant for the past 18 months, but we know the competition won’t rest. We’ll keep pushing to improve the platform and find those crucial tenths in this professional and competitive field.

I’m really looking forward to the event! Not only by the fact that our team is back at the ETS in full force for the first time in years, but because I’m really enjoying the track and facilities in Aigen. It’s a fast and challenging track with good grip, and it’s really fun to race on! I’m hoping to fight for the sharp end in the ultra-competitive modified class. Myself and my team have prepared as well as we can for this big event – let’s see how we stack up!
In terms of my racing package – we’re using our X4’24 chassis, close to its kit (asphalt version) form, with a few option parts. Who knows, we might even have some development parts ready in time for the race? As of lately, I’m using my fast and reliable Hobbywing and Nosram power package. Hobbywing ESC & motor, and Nosram batteries. I am looking forward to put my car down on track in a couple of days at the event in Aigen!

Coelho starts to focus on his touring car programme to prepare for the worlds in November

I like the Aigen facility a lot. The layout and the place is very nice. I’ve been there for an ENS race some years ago, and it was amazing.The team is going to work hard to bring home the best result possible. It’s always difficult as the competition is very high, but I’m sure we will do our best. The team is aiming for the Worlds in the USA, so every race is super important for us to gather as much information as possible.
As I am driving in many categories, my 2024 was not only about preparing for touring car races so far. But with the Worlds taking place this year, I will try to focus more on the touring program for the next few months until the Worlds. We are working very hard on the car and possible future options, but I am sure we will be very competitive in Aigen with the current package we have.
About the ETS in general, the competition is super high at the moment and last weekend in Belgium (euros warmup) was a first prove of that. But in this moment, there are in my point of view two names that come up when talking about biggest possible opponents at the ETS. Michal Orlowski is for sure the man to beat now. He has been crazy fast lately, and I’m really happy to see that the most experienced drivers have finally accepted that the talented young generation is coming. When everything is perfect, it can lead to wins with huge margins, like he has been doing lately. Lucas has also been on point many times, and since he became an RC professional, he has made a great big step forward, he is the prove of hard work and dedication bring results without excuses. I’m happy for him, he truly deserves it. So that’s my bet for Aigen.

I really like the track in Aigen, as it has a very good flow and great traction. We hope we can achieve good results, our car was working very well there last year, so we can’t wait for this year. I couldn’t participate on the first round in Apeldoorn as we had XRS Grand final in Hudy arena and the EC warmup in Belgium. We are always looking for the maximum performance, but my car and electronics are still the same as on the races before. I watched the race in Apeldoorn and obviously the previous season i expect Lukas, Ollie and Tim to be very fast in Aigen as well.

I am really looking forward to race in Aigen again. I have some great memories to the race in 2022 where I had a serious chance to win. With even more top drivers signed up for this year, I am also more motivated for some great fights on track. My Axon team mate Hayato Ishioka will also come to the race. He had a good pace in Aigen too and we both hope for a great result.
After the ETS in Apeldoorn we tested a lot and we will have some upgrade parts with us for the race in Aigen. It will be tough to get to the top against Michal, Marc, Bruno, Ronald, and all the others but that`s part of the game. I hope to see some Axon customers there again as we already had two cars in the Pro Stock A-Main in Apeldoorn which was super nice for our brand!

After a long time, I am really looking forward to race again at the ETS. These races are always bringing the best drivers in the world together which is just fantastic. Currently, our Axon car is working great on asphalt and I will do my best to show a good pace in Austria. When I raced there in 2022, I liked the track a lot as it was fast, flowing, and really challenging as well. I am super excited for the race!
