XRAY is Constructors Champion of Season #17 – rule update for Season #18

With the Constructors Championship have been new at the ETS last season, we have almost forgotten to let all of you know who won the title. For counting the points we used the results of our RC Manager game which are made up of various results over the course of a complete race weekend. Perfect for the manager game – not the best fit for the constructors ranking list.

We noticed that using the points from the RC Manager game was not transparent enough for the people who are just interested in the ETS Constructors Championship without getting in touch with the RC Manager game. Therefore we have made some major adjustments for the Constructors Championship for the new season which we can share with you today. These changes will make everyting more easy and clear for racers, teams, the media, and everybody who is looking onto the ETS from a distance!

Xray wins first official ETS Constructors Championship title

The first official title goes to the city of Trencin in Slovakia where the headquaters of XRAY are located. The drivers from the Xray team have scored the most points in our very first season of doing the Constructors Championship. Xray driver David Ehrbar was responsible for naming the drivers for each race weekend during last season and after 5 races they won the title with a small advantage from Awesomatix around team manager Max Mächler.

The table shows the final rankings according to the points of the RC Manager game. The empty spaces are races in which the teams did not nominate (or forgot to nominate) three drivers before the race started. However, Xray is the official and well-deserved constructors champion of ETS Seaosn #17 2024/25 ahead of Awesomatix and Mugen Seiki – CONGRATULATIONS!

New rules for Season #18 2025/26 – more transparency and points from MyRCM

As mentioned before, last season was a “first try”. We are always aiming to optimize things and after a lot of talks with different drivers, manufacturers, and team managers, we took the best mixture out of all the information and created new rules for the Season #18 Constructors Championship.

For sure, we certainly can’t do justice to all ideas and suggestions, but we believe that the new rules are easy to understand and follow. Our main goal was to make it easy for everybody who is watching, for all team managers (as they don not have anythign to think about anymore), and also the media site of things in case of reporting about the championship.

We hope that everybody will enjoy the new season when the fight for the ETS Constructors Title will start from zero again!

Official Rules – ETS Constructors Championship

  1. The season consists of five races and all of them will count for the ETS Constructors Championship.
  2. We only count the results from the Touring Car classes and the FWD class. The Formula class is not included in the Constructors Championship as too many brands don`t have an F1 chassis in competition.
  3. We are using the official points from MyRCM to calculate the championship rankings after each race weekend.
  4. The best result of every constructor in four of the five classes count for the championship at every race.
    Example:
A constructor takes P4 in Modified, P1 in Pro Stock, P8 in FWD, P7 in 40+ Masters, and P5 in 21.5 Stock. In this case we will not count the P8 from FWD, but all the other four results to calculate the overall points for the race.
  5. A result only counts if a driver was in the A-Main.
    Example:
The best result of a brand in Modified is P9 in the A-Main = result counts.
The best result of a brand in Modified is P4 in the B-Main = result doesn`t count.
  6. This means that every team is responsible for having a car in the A-Main of every class (in the best case). If a team only has a car in the A-Main of two or three classes (for example) the team will only get these points for the A-Main results!
  7. We will report about the standings of the Constructors Championship after and before every race.
  8. The winning Constructor will receive a trophy at the end of the season and earn all the glory of being the best constructor at the ETS.
