What the teams expect! Mugen Seiki ahead of ETS RD1…
Mugen Seiki aims for championship contention with new MTC-3 touring car platform!
Mugen Seiki saw a clear upwards trend at the end of last season when their new MTC-3 won two Pro Stock races and found his way back onto the modified podium. The team will hit Apeldoorn in (almost) full force and everybody is excited to see how they have used the break to prepare for the new season. While customers are still waiting for their MTC-3 car kits, the MTC-3 is showing that the wait should be worth it!
First of all, I would like to say that it is absolutely great to see so many participants at the ETS. The last few races have been well attended and that seems to be continuing now outdoors. It’s just fantastic to see the ETS going so well and I’m sure this will boost the whole RC scene. I’m also very pleased that the MTC-3 kits will be arriving in Europe in the next few weeks. I know the car has come a long way, but I’m sure customers will be happy with it. It is still a big challenge for Mugen Seiki to keep up with the super-fast moving 1/10th scale electric market, which is completely different from the nitro racing scene that has been Mugen Seiki’s core competence in the past. At the end of last season, our top stock driver Sören Sparbier achieved great results when he simply drove amazingly well. I hope he can keep this momentum going in 2025. Due to a family commitment, we won’t have him with us in Apeldoorn, but he will be back on track with us in Aigen. Sören’s results have already shown that our car is not only good in the Modified class and we hope that we can convince many stock drivers to buy the MTC-3. Last but not least, I hope that we will have a great season with our top driver Ronald Völker. He has a good feeling with the MTC-3 and we will do our best to fight for victories at the sharp end of the competition! Robert Pietsch (GER)
We have had great testing lately prior to the first ETS race of the new season in Apeldoorn. This track is one of my alltime favourites and so much fun to drive on. The event will see an incredible competition and with the high amount of entries its gonna be unforgettable! Ronald Völker (GER)
I think next ETS in Apeldoorn will be one of the most exciting ETS race in history as the field of drivers and their level is extremely high. I expect very close racing to get in the top 10 and I’m sure that a mistake, even the smallest one, will cost a lot for anyone! I’m super motivated, same as the whole Mugen Seiki team, as the brand-new car MTC3 is showing great speed each time she hits the ground. Let’s see what will happen in Apeldoorn. Remi Callens (FR)
Due to a very important family appointment I will sadly miss the season opener in Apeldoorn, However, I am sure that the team will do extremeley well there as our new MTC-3 is unbelievable. I will try to do all the remaining four races of the season and I hope to still have a shot to battle with the other Pro Stock top drivers for the title. It will not be easy but I think I am in a real good form now and will give my very best for a top result. I wish everybody a lot of fun and great races in Apeldoorn – I will watch the show from home! Sören Sparbier (GER)
What I expect from the season opener in Apeldoorn is an overall amazing experience for myself and my family. It will be my first race in Europe which makes it special right from the start of the trip. I strongly feel this race will be a major test as a driver since the field of drivers would be at the absolute best. I feel like our team will be strong at ETS and we will gather immense information from our new Mugen MTC-3 platform. I’m super pumped to work, learn and spend time with Ronald and Robert again. Also, can’t wait to see my friends and meet new ones as well. Jacob Cruz (USA)
I’m really looking forward to the new season starting in Apeldoorn. can’t wait to see my new teammates and friends again. unbelievable number of starters that are currently named. top riders from all over the world, mega to be able to compete with the best. I’m expecting a close race top 10 would be a mega result when you read who’s on the list! I’m very lucky to be part of team Mugen. I’ve only been here for a short time, but I’ve been welcomed warmly and with joy. there’s a good harmony in our team, and the team spirit and helpfulness are incredibly strong! We have a very strong basis with our new MTC3, thanks to Robert Pietsch, and have certainly not yet realised our full potential, but you can see that we are very strong! (see Sören and Völker). Patrick Gollner (AT)
The ETS race in Apeldoorn will be my first time on asphalt, so it will be a new challenge for sure. My goal will of course be the A-Main but as I have no experience yet, it will be a weekend to learn and I will do my best. I have never been in Apeldoorn there before but all I have seen on pictures and videos looks super nice. The last ETS in Wiener Neustadt was the first time I raced modified and the weekend was a lot of fun, I got to know a lot of people and I am still very grateful that Ronald and Robert supported me so much. Let`s bring the heat! Berkan Kilic (TR)
