Hobbywing adding Dankel and Greiner to Factory Team

After announcing the signing of Simon Lauter and Olivier Bultynck two days ago, Hobbywing is adding two more rockets to their arsenal of amazing drivers. This time, we are talking about Awesomatix driver Eric Dankel, and Serpent`s Dominic Greiner!

We can’t wait to announce that two former top nitro on-road drivers Eric Dankel and Dominic Greiner RC have decided one after another to switch to electric car racing and unanimously chose HOBBYWING as their power brand. Eric already showed his great performance in recent ETS seasons while Dominic announced his switch to electrical class just one month ago. We believe that their rich racing experience and driving skills will bring us even more exciting competition at the track! We’ll continue pushing boundaries and achieving greatness. Destiny RX-10SR 3.0 option parts

New parts are available for the actual Destiny RX-10SR touring car!
REAR spring steel CVD drive shaft with POM bushing and lightweight aluminum differential cup. The length of driveshaft was 0.5mm longer than kit aluminum drive shaft to make the car more stable.
New machine cut POM bushing with hardened aluminum differential to less friction on driveshaft movement and more durable. Improved stability and cornering speed.

Hobbywing announced the signing of Simon Lauter and Olivier Bultynck to their factory team. Both had a long-term stint with LRP and they will use Hobbywing ESC`s and Motors in their racing programme from now on!

HOBBYWING’s latest stock motor, with reliable ESC, will contribute significantly to helping them achieve their great goals. We’ll gear up for even greater achievements together and reaching new heights! A warm welcome from HOBBYWING family! The GP3F will be held this weekend and this is the first competition they will officially participate in on behalf of HOBBYWING. We wish them good luck!

New range of ORCA Motors and ESC`s

ORCA has released many new products in the last weeks. There are two new Pro speed controllers with the name MK2 available for 2S 1:10 scale and 1S 1:12 scale racing. These new speedos are coming along with optimized hard- and software to further push the limits on track. Another new product from ORCA is the Blucon module which connects the ESC via Bluetooth to the Smartphone (Orca Blucon App needed).

The new line of Blitreme 3 (Stock) and Modtreme 2 (Modified) Motors is replacing the older generation of ORCA motors now. Both, the Blitreme Stock and Modtreme Modified Motors are showing up in a different colour with an more open motor case and optimized airflow for better cooling. The design of the endbell is new, as well as the used materials inside the motors. Overall, racers will get the best possible power delivery with a great feeling on track when running these new ORCA motors!

FlySky signs next top gun with Ronnefalk

FlySky is happy to announce that Swedens top 1:8 & 1:10 offroad driver and former IFMAR World Champion David Ronnefalk has signed with the FlySky team! Ronnefalk is a 3-time podium finisher at World Championships, 8-time European Champion and 25-time Swedish National Champion. Ronnefalk will be using the FlySky Noble Pro transmitter in his forthcoming 1:8 & 1:10 scale racing programme.

The FlySky Noble Pro has really impressed on me. The feeling on track is just as good as it feels holding it in your hand. With the metal frame the weight is just right to me and overall it really oozes quality. I’ve been using the Noble Pro for a few months already and I’m happy to be a part of FlySky team for 2024 and beyond.

Winkler teams up with Awesomatix

Another young gun is joining Awesomatix for 2024 and beyond – Joshua Winkler from Germany. Here is the official Awesomatix announcement:

We are happy to announce the addition of another young talent to the Awesomatix Team. He showed great speed during the past seasons! His biggest achievements so far are two second places in the Stock class at the ETS in Andernach and Luxemburg. Joshua will attend local races as well as some rounds of the Euro Touring Series.

Lee new HW team manager for South East Asia

Hobbywing has announced that Singapore racer Nicholas Lee (Yokomo) will be their new team manager for the South East Asia region. Nicholas is a ISTC World Championship Finalist and TITC podium finisher. The Yokomo factory driver will also switch back to Hobbywing products in his BD12 touring car after a 5-year stint racing with Dash RC electronics.

Registration opens for ETS RD6 Season #16 2023/24 in Wiener Neustadt, AUT

Today we like to inform you that the registration for ETS RD6 Season #16 2023/24 will open on Friday, 05.01.2024 at 20:00 MEZ. We are looking forward to welcome you at Arena Nova for the season finale of ETS Season #16. The 4-day event will start on Thursday 21st, and will end on Sunday 24th of March 2024.

Place your entry soon as we are expecting another amazing turnout at the last race of the season. We are planning a big driver`s party at one evening together with a big raffle including cool prices from our ETS partners and sponsors!

Gruber joins Power HD

Toni Gruber RC, the champion of IFMAR World Championship in 1:8th Nitro GT 2023, has been announced as a big shot of Team Power HD!
In 2023, he also won the Vice Champion of IFMAR 1/8 Nitro Onroad GP and the champion of EFRA 1/10 Nitro Onroad, the champion of ENS – Euro Nitro Series 1/8 Onroad (Overall 3 Rounds) , the 3rd place of EFRA 1/8 IC Track, and won the German National Championship three times in a year.
Toni will be using the lighter and faster S15 on his 1/8 and 1/10 Nitro Onroad Car and had the following to say:

2024 starts for me with a big announcement. I am really looking forward to work together with Power HD for the next 2 years. I will be using there servos in my 1/8 & 1/10 nitro on-road car for all coming races. Can’t wait to hit the track with them!
