Another young gun is joining Awesomatix for 2024 and beyond – Joshua Winkler from Germany. Here is the official Awesomatix announcement:

We are happy to announce the addition of another young talent to the Awesomatix Team. He showed great speed during the past seasons! His biggest achievements so far are two second places in the Stock class at the ETS in Andernach and Luxemburg. Joshua will attend local races as well as some rounds of the Euro Touring Series.

Hobbywing has announced that Singapore racer Nicholas Lee (Yokomo) will be their new team manager for the South East Asia region. Nicholas is a ISTC World Championship Finalist and TITC podium finisher. The Yokomo factory driver will also switch back to Hobbywing products in his BD12 touring car after a 5-year stint racing with Dash RC electronics.

Toni Gruber RC, the champion of IFMAR World Championship in 1:8th Nitro GT 2023, has been announced as a big shot of Team Power HD!
In 2023, he also won the Vice Champion of IFMAR 1/8 Nitro Onroad GP and the champion of EFRA 1/10 Nitro Onroad, the champion of ENS – Euro Nitro Series 1/8 Onroad (Overall 3 Rounds) , the 3rd place of EFRA 1/8 IC Track, and won the German National Championship three times in a year.
Toni will be using the lighter and faster S15 on his 1/8 and 1/10 Nitro Onroad Car and had the following to say:

2024 starts for me with a big announcement. I am really looking forward to work together with Power HD for the next 2 years. I will be using there servos in my 1/8 & 1/10 nitro on-road car for all coming races. Can’t wait to hit the track with them!

After announcing his departure from Xray a coulpe of days ago, French onroad driver Antoine Brunet joined the Yokomo factory team. Antoine will use the current BD12 and will help the team around Yannic Prümper, Christopher Krapp, and Nicholas Lee, to become even stronger at big international races. Antoines will also race at the French national series for Yokomo. His first big outing with his new team will be the GP3F in Longwy, followed by ETS RD5 in Daun.

Antoine Brunet (FR) Yokomo

An unexpected change has taken place in the 1:10 touring car modified class. Eric Dankel has announced his departure from his long-term chassis sponsor Mugen Seiki, and is joining the Awesomatix factory team for 2024 and beyond. Eric was a major part in Mugen Seiki`s electric touring car programme, and helped to develop the MTC-1, MTC-2, and MTC-2R in the last 7 years. His best season with Mugen Seiki (2023) saw him two times on the ETS podium (Apeldoorn and Aigen) and finishing fifth at the EFRA euros in Türkheim. Now, Eric will rock the Awesomatix A800R at many major events.

FlySky is happy to announce that French top 1:10 electric onroad driver Antoine Brunet has signed with FlySky team!
Brunet is a 2 time RC bike world champion, XRS grand final winner, European bike champion and multiple ETS A-Main finalist.
Antoine will be using the FlySky Noble Pro transmitter in all his 1:10 scale racing cars.

ETS record champion Ronald Völker (Mugen Seiki) has officially teamed up with FlySky now after using their Noble Pro radio since a couple of months. During his last China trip, Ronald also had the chance to visit the FlySky headquater and a part of the factory. FlySky announced the signing of Ronald Völker on the first christmas day with the following statement:

FlySky is excited to announce that former IFMAR World Champion, multiple European, National and ETS champion, legendary German top 1:10 electric on-road driver Ronald Völker RC has signed with FlySky team! Ronald is an excellent driver who wants to improve himself everyday. We’ll be working closely with him to refine our current products and to develop new transmitters and receivers for our valued customers to enjoy. Ronald will be using FlySky Noble Pro transmitter in his forthcoming 1:10 scale onroad racing programme.
