Orlowski sweeps MKGP 2023 in Milton Keynes, GB

0

Last weekend, the MKGP took place in Milton Keynes (Great Britain), and attracted 200 racers in 2WD, and 150 in the 4WD class. It was the weekend of Schumacher`s Michal Orlowski who took two TQ`s and both overall victories in front of Xray`s world champion Bruno Coelho who finished second in both divisions. Tommy Hall (Team Associated) took third place in 2WD, and his teammate Jonas Kaerup finished third on the podium in 4WD.

Read what Michal Orlowski wrote about his weekend on his social media:

What a fabulous weekend at MKGP 2023 in Milton Keynes, UK. I was able to take the double TQ&WIN at the most competitive offroad race in Europe in a very long time.
This was the first time for all of us racing on this type of carpet and it started out with extremely low grip, we all changed our cars to suit the low grip conditions, but round by round in 2WD qualifying the grip was coming up and we had to slowly change back our cars for the high grip conditions each run. I was able to top seed, TQ and win the 2WD portion of the event.
We moved onto 4WD. It started off quite tough, as I broke my car in the first seeding practice but after that, I was able to top seed again, TQ 5/5 qualifiers and take the win in A1 and A2.
My Schumacher R/C Racing cars equipped with Hobbywing Technology/ Sunpadow RC, Power HD, Whitz Racing Products and MR33 Racing were absolutely brilliant on this difficult track with unique traction.
I had great fights on the track with Bruno Coelho RC Driver, it was fantastic to finally race again in offroad on carpet for the first time in a few years and I had a brilliant race with Marcus Kærup RC Driver until the end in A1 and A2 of 4WD.
Big thank you to the whole #SchumacherFamily, we have such a brilliant team and we work so well together. Special thanks to Tris, Muz and Robin and to the guys that helped me this weekend marshaling or mounting tyres, you are the best!

T-Work`s Titanium Outdrives for Xray X4-2023

T-Work`s has just released some new and interesting tuning parts for the Xray X4-2023 touring car. The front titanium Spool Outdrives (for BB drive shafts) and the rear gear differential outdrives are significantly lighter than the original steel parts resulting in less rotating mass and more drivetrain efficiency. When using the parts front and rear, you can save up to almost 7g of rotating mass which is a lot. No matter if you are racing stock or modified, these parts are a very good improvement for your Xray car.

Available: New Hobbywing Combo for the ETS Formula Class

0

Dear ETS Formula racers,

after racing with Scorpion electronics for many years, we like to inform you officially about a change today!
From now on, the ETS will use a new Hobbywing combo for the Formula class. We like to thank Scorpion for their great support in the past years, being a reliable partner on our side.

Now, as we are moving forward, a new combo from Hobbywing will power the F1 cars around the racetracks. It came a long way, and the testing took quite some time under the lead of ETS Formula driver Jan Ratheisky and the Hobbywing development team. Now, everything is ready and the software of the ESC fits the 21.5T Hobbywing Motor perfectly. The combos are now available at ToniSport and the ESC must be in use from ETS RD1 in Apeldoorn.

The combo consists of the Hobbywing Handout Spec ETS Speed Controller and a Hobbywing Justock Handout Spec ETS 21.5T Motor!

We wish all Formula drivers a great experience on track with the new Hobbywing combo.

Uwe, Scotty, and the whole ETS crew!
