ETS RD4 Andernach moved forward by one week, Season #16 2023/24

0

Dear ETS family,

shortly after we have rolled out our first race dates for 2023, we like to inform you that we had to move the race at Arena33 in Andernach (RD4) to the weekend of 7th to 10th of September (one week earlier). The reason for that is the 1:10 scale IFMAR Offroad World Championship at Hobby Action in Chandler/Arizona (USA) which has been confirmed last week at the same dates we had originally scheduled our race.
As we don`t like to collide with IFMAR and EFRA events to allow all drivers to attend these events AND our ETS races, we reacted quickly and ETS RD4 will take olace from 7th to 10th of September now.

The whole ETS Crew wishes you a great day and a lot of success at the next races!

0

The american Mugen Seiki distributor “Mugen Seiki Racing” announced today, that Ryan Maifield will leave the Mugen Seiki Offroad team before the start of the new season in 2023. Read the official statement from Mugen Seiki Racing:

Mugen Seiki Racing would like to make Ryan Maifield’s exit from the factory team official ahead of the 2023 season. Maifield joined Mugen Seiki Racing at the beginning of 2017 where he made history being the first racer to do the impossible by sweeping all three pro classes at The Dirt Nitro Challenge. Still being the only driver in history to sweep The Dirt Nitro Challenge, Maifield and Mugen Seiki did it again in 2021. Maifiled and Mugen Seiki’s success together includes multiple Silver State Nitro Challenge titles, winning both classes at the 2021 1/8th Fuel Nationals, winning every ROAR 1/8th Electric Buggy National Championship Maifield competed in during his time at Mugen Seiki, and multiple IFMAR World Championship finals including a podium finish. It’s been an honor to have worked with such a talented and committed racer like Maifield, and Mugen Seiki Racing wishes Ryan the best with his future endeavors.

The battery comes along at around 160g and is a perfect choice for 1/10 scale indoor modified racing (touring car), FWD cars, as well as 2WD and 4WD offroad buggies.

Awesomatix rear ARS steering arm

0

Awesomatix offers a new designed rear ARS steering arm for their current touring car A800MMX (and older versions including the A700) which also fits into the rear of the A800FX Evo FWD car. A great new tuning option for the famous onroad cars from the russian manufacturer for the indoor season. Read how Awesomatix describes their newest product:

This version is longer compared to the previous AM23-1 Rear Steering Arm. This feature reduces the free play of the rear toe and improves ARS characteristics. The improved characteristics of the ARS helps with better midcorner steering and reduce the risk of snap oversteer during load changes.
We recommend to use 0,5mm less bumpsteer shims, to keep the same ARS action as with AM23-1. This part is a direct replacement for AM23-1
