Registration open for ETS RD2 in Aigen, AUT

Dear ETS Family,

The registration for our second race of the new ETS season is OPEN. The ETS circus will travel to Austria where the MAV Aigen-Schlägl will welcome us again at their amazing facility. We have raced there last summer for the first time, and all participants had been blown away by the great track, the perfect organisation from the club, and the warm welcome for everybody!

Even if the attendance was not that high last time, we decided to go to Aigen again as we really believe that this facility is top notch and a MUST GO event for every passionated ETS racer. We expect a higher turnout this time and we are sure that everybody will like this amazing track which is just insane for ETS racing!

Donath teams up with Awesomatix

It’s our pleasure to announce the addition of Jasmin Donath to the Awesomatix Team.
With 6 podiums and overall 2 wins in the last ETS season, Jasmin finished overall 2nd in the Stock Championship! This upcoming season we will see her attending in the ProStock class, as well as some 1/12 events after her 5th place at the German Nationals.
We are looking forward to see her at the tracks in Germany and around Europe.

Destiny Flex Type Arms

Destiny has released new FLEX type graphite lower arms for their RX-10SR 3.0 and RX-10F 3.0 cars. The arms are made by 3mm graphite material. The shape and the design design is made more flexible than the kit lower arm are offering. The result is more stability and easier to drive.  Suitable for low to medium taction conditions.

Mon-Tech ZERO2 and CIVIC Bodyshells

Mon-Tech has released a new Touring Car and FWD bodyshell. Both bodies are listed for ETS Season #16 2023/24 and can be used at all races. The Zero2 is the successor of the well-known ZERO touring car body, while the CIVIC is a new and wonderful looking shell for the famous FWD class.
Mon-Tech offers the bodies in a standard 0,7mm version, as well as in a 0,5mm La Leggera (Lightweight) version. The CIVIC is only allowed at the ETS in the 0,7mm standard version . Mofidied and Pro Stock racers can use the ZERO2 in both weight options, while the 21.5 Stock and 40+ Masters drivers can use the 0,7mm standard shell.

Mugen Seiki MTC-2R Touring Car

Mugen Seiki is excited to announce the NEW MTC-2R electric touring car kit. The MTC-2R is an evolution of the highly successful MTC2 platform. Ronald Völker won the ETS championship two years in a row with the MTC2 plateform and it’s now time to release the next generation MTC2R with several updates and improvements. Ronald and the team rest of the development team tested on many different surfaces and conditions to develop the MTC-2R.

The MTC-2R features several new parts to improve the feeling on the track

• New single bellcrank steering arm, is mounted directly to the LCG servo mount which makes the steering input more linear and helps greatly reduce slop in the steering assembly.
• New ball-bearing drive shaft´s increase consistency and precision on the track.
• New silicone X-Ring for the dampers allow smoother working dampers and increase consistency throughout a race.
• New damper position is optimized bringing better overall grip.
• New caster adjustment increases durability and is easier to work on the car.
• More durable damper balls.
• Fine tuning belt adjustment.
• All in one shock towers with both fixed and active shock mounting.
• Less set screw.
• New high quality composite parts making spares more affordable.
• New optional parts and tools will be available as well with the release of MTC2R.

Awesomatix A800R Option Parts

New for the Awesomatix A800R electric touring car is a series of parts for the shocks, the anti-roll bar, and the front bumper.

New are the AT143 ARB Stiffeners, which increase the stiffness of the stabilizer by up to one step. +1 step stiffness increase means that 1.0 mm rod acts like 1.1 mm rod, 1.1 mm rod acts like 1.2 mm rod, 1.2 mm rod acts like 1.3 mm rod, and 1.3 mm rod acts like 1.4 mm rod. 1/2 and 1/4 increments of increase can be set.

Also new are the ST05-R shock rods which add “friction type” damping in suspension operation. ST05-R slides along ST102 with noticeable friction during suspension travel. Friction damping compresses the suspension more = more damping, even at low suspension speed. Oil damping: more speed of suspension travel = more damping. Low damping at low speed of the suspension. With ST05-R, the car rolls and dives slower and responds faster to steering input. A800R damper settings that were good with ST205 linkage should be 10…25% softer when using ST05-R.

New Softwares for ETS Stock classes READY

Dear ETS Family,

we just revceived the new ORCA Software for our ETS stock touring car classes. You can download your software here to use it on track as soon as possible. We have tested many different settings and RPM limit values, and in the software you will get the values we liked the most during testing. Before you run with the new software for the first time, we like to give you some information about it.

The new Software comes with less values to adjust, for less confusion and more fun on the track. You can adjust the following values on the Speed Controller: LiPo Cutoff | Punch | Drag Brake | Brake Force | Brake Punch | Dead Band

RPM Limit for 21.5T Stock and 40+ Masters: 18.000 RPM (blinking 4 times for identification)
RPM Limit for ProStock: 20.000 RPM (blinking 3 times for identification)

The “PWM Frequency” is now pre-installed to the values 8000K for driving, and 1000K for braking. We found out that these values are working good in all conditions so there is no need to change them. We also removed the paramers “Running Mode” and “Reverse Force” as nobody used these setting options at all.

Important: You must update your programm card to the NEW 6.2 Software which is also included in the download package.

Sponsored Drivers during ETS Season #16 2023/24

Today we like to share a very important information with you. After many drivers have asked us about “Sponsored Drivers” racing at the ETS in different classes, we have talked and discussed intensiveley about this in our ETS orga team and found a conclusion for the new season. Here is the statemend from Scotty Ernst and the team about it:

Hello to our ETS family of racers!
As the cold of winter leaves us it ushers in the warmth and sunshine of summer which we are all egearly waiting for. The sunshine and warmth also means the begining of the outdoor racing season of the ETS. We are excited to be kicking off the outdoor season at the beautiful Apeldoorn track in the Netherlands.

As we prepare for the outdoor season, we want to let you know of a rule change we have made to remove the confusion many have regarding sponsored drivers. 

The world of RC has changed drastically over the past 10 years when it comes to sponsorship.
Now days, sponsorship discounts are the normal way for our industry. So many racers including new beginner racers get deals from their local shops, online shops, small manufactures all the way to major manufactures.

The argument has been ongoing to determine exactly what a “sponsored driver” truly is and there is no way for us to classify what it is.


If we look back over the past few years, we have had racers who have had discounts and sponsorship participating in all categories of the ETS.

So going forward, we have removed this terminology from the rule set. We feel that racers who are of the higher ability will not run the slower classes and will run in the appropriate classes.  We built the ETS to focus on the fun we all can have in the hobby and hope that the founding spirit of the ETS is what guides everyone in the future.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in the Netherlands for what will be a great season of the ETS.

ZooRacing GOAT Touring Car Bodyshell

ZooRacing has released a new tourinc car bodyshell for 1:10 scale racing. The name of the body is GOAT, which means nothing more than “Greatest Of All Time” – a very confident name choice from ZooRacing which brings the GOAT into the focus on track for sure! ZooRAcing has also listed the GOAT for the Pro Stock and Modified class of ETS Season #16 2023/24.

GOAT is ZooRacing´s new high-performance touring car body. Developed from the experience from the super successful Dogsbollox body, but a more compact and shorter design to generate more rotating for a more fluent driving.
Key areas, like the new, shorter nose- and hood design are optimized and the also the rear section is more compact and much lower to make cornering faster and have a stable rear at the same time.

The new and more pronounced rear spoiler generates more downforce, what gives the car more stabillity when exit corners. The more homogeneous airflow behind the roof reduces drag and turbulences. New inverted fin design on the trunk reduces turbulences and increases static stability at the rear section and results a better approach flow to the new curved designed rear wing.

The rear wing design is curved according the body lines and has a stepped design to improve stability. The result is less flex and more downforce on high speeds.

The handling of the GOAT body is less agressive, than the Wolverine and rotates better, than the Dogsbollox and produces a well ballanced side bite. Perfect for tracks with low to medium grip and modified racing. The GOAT is Great On All Terrains!

On top of that all is the ZOOlite moulding process that reduces the overall weight of our standard thickness 0.7mm body shells by about 10g. This ensures the standard shells are legal for all races with minimum body weight rules, while significantly lowering the overall center of gravity. In addition, GOAT is also available in our proven, Ultralight 0.5mm variant for everyone looking for the outmost of performance.
With the GOAT, ZooRacing introduces the new 0.4mm AIRlite material. This ist he lightest material by far we ever made for touring car bodies. We recommend this material only for super high grip trackst to reduce tractions rolls and/or tire waste. AIRlite material bodies are mostly faster, but the lifetime of the body is definitely limmited.

Part of the package is a window mask decal set and a high-quality wing mounting hardware and a detailed sticker sheet including grille, head and taillights.

New Destiny option parts!

Japanese manufacturer Destiny offers new option parts for their RX-10SR 3.0 Touring car platform.

First, there is a set of front spring steel metal bushing double joint drive shaft with lightweight spring steel spool cups. The length of the driveshafts is now 0.5mm longer. The kit plastic spool cup or option metal spool cup with plastic drive shaft cap was replaced by metal bushings which provide less friction during the driveshaf.t movement and more durability. Another benefit is the improved stability and corner speed. Destiny Part No. O10367

Another new part is the upper graphite bumper brace for the RX-10SR touring, and the F3.0 FWD car. It is made by 2mm graphite and gets installed togehter with two pieces of micro O-rings between the brace and the lower aluminum Bulkhead.
